Bankruptcy

Attorney Chris Phillippe has been practicing in Bankruptcy Court since the early 1990s. He has handled close to 5,000 bankruptcy filings for our clients. These include cases of:

â–º Chapter 7

â–º Chapter 11

â–º Chapter 13

Our in-depth consultation with our clients enables us to determine which specific Bankruptcy Chapter will meet your needs.  Our specialized Bankruptcy Paralegals and Legal Assistants are thoroughly knowledgeable of the requirements of the Bankruptcy Trustee and the Bankruptcy Court. The Law Offices Of Phillippe & Associates provides the insight and valuable support you need throughout the bankruptcy process.

If a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is determined to be necessary, this chapter of the Bankruptcy Code entails a complete liquidation of most or all of a client’s debt. This can enable the debtor to have a fresh start free of creditors.

Chapter 11 Bankruptcy filings are for businesses that want to remain in business but need creditor relief.  Also, they are suitable for high net worth individuals. This type of bankruptcy can be very complicated and involved so it’s important to work with an expert Bankruptcy attorney.

Chapter 13 Bankruptcy prevents foreclosure of your home through a payment plan that takes into account the budget necessary for the client and addresses unsecured debt.  Most of these are five-year payment plans through which the client emerges from the plan debt free.  Attorney Chris Phillippe has prevented numerous homes from foreclosure.
